Since April of 2000 my career has been with We Lov Pets and I have enjoyed every minute of it. It is my passion to work for a company that truly appreciates their community, their customers, their employees and the well being of animals. When I went to college for business management I was working for We Lov Pets with my mom who ran it at that time. I knew with my passion for business and my passion for animals I had found my career of choice. I could never be happier. I have much gratitude for all of our customers for their continued support...thank you! Along with my work family I have a husband, four little girls, two Black Labs, a bunny and fish. Miranda Cartwright
Manager - Zanesville
I was born and raised here in Zanesville, Ohio. I graduated from Tri-Valley High School and attended Zane State College where I obtained my associates degree in Applied Science. I started working at We Lov Pets in October of 2011. After graduating college I knew my heart was here at We Lov Pets. Our customers are what truly kept me here. Over the years I have been able to build relationships with customers and their pets which I find to be rewarding. Another reason for staying at We Lov Pets is because of my passion for animals. I grew up with animals all my life. Currently I have two cats, four dogs, two parakeets, two bearded dragons, a jersey wooly rabbit, a chinchilla, a blue tongue skink, and a 65 gallon fish tank. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching movies and snuggling with my fur babies.
Adam Johnson
Manager - Marietta
I have been with the company since we opened in 2004. I grew up as an animal lover so this is a dream job. Every day is new and exciting adventure as we get to help our great customers love and care for their pet (s). Throughout the years I have been able to meet many amazing customers and work with a tremendous staff. As a former member of the board for the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley it is very important to me to continue to help get as many dogs and cats adopted as we can and never selling either in our store but instead showcasing animals for the shelter. On October of 2014 we will have been open for 10 years and I look forward to another 10! When not working at We Lov Pets I spend my time with my 4 furbabies, 2 amazing children and my wonderful wife.

I grew up on a farm here in Mount Vernon so I have always had a soft spot for animals. I began working at We Lov Pets in February of 2018 as a sales associate. I took on the roles of supervisor, stockroom manager, and assistant manager before I eventually settled into my current management position in August of 2020. I have loved being able to have a direct impact on our amazing customers, their pets, and our community!
